On Saturday we went to Sheringham. We had fish 'n' chips, as you should at the seaside - it's the law.

Rebecca and Flossie got tangled up in the retractable leash, as usual,
and we all had a very long walk on the beach, almost half way to Cromer!
It was a very happy day, and Sheringham is lovely.
I think we broke Flossie.

Pro It might well be, it's sandstone and flint. In fact the beach is mostly flint! Didn't find any fossils, but wasn't really looking for them. They were having a 1940's weekend so I was mostly looking up in case a Lancaster flew over (it did). I did take some pics of the townsfolk in their wartime get-up, but my camera chose not to play :-(

Being raised on the Canadian prairies, I did not have an opportunity to enjoy the sea until we visited relatives in Aberdeen, Scotland. That was wayyyy back in 1966. My Uncle would take me for walks through the fisherman's market and then down along a coastal walkway to look out at the North Sea. I became addicted. In my next life, i know where I will chose to be born. :-) A hint....it will not be in the middle of Saskatchewan.
