Drove up to Leicestershire on Saturday for Jude's hen night, and what a thoroughly good night it was! The other grown-up bridesmaids (Jen, Tracy, Zoe and Erica) all managed to attend and I met other Friends of Jude including the lovely Gemma, who I bonded with immediately, and the handsome Alan who, it seems, is lusted after by all the single bridesmaids.

The entertainment was provided by a very gay psychic, and there was only one person there I could have cheerfully throttled. I am sure a good time was had by all.

If memory serves me right I seem to have spent quite a lot of the night giving foot massages!

Drinking two bottles of Smirnoff Ice and staying up until 4 am was enough to finish me off entirely. I am so not a party animal these days!

Just heard that Jen has at last given birth to beautiful Grace - welcome little one!
